The Future of Black Artist in Manitoba

Year 2023 panel discussion and exhibition of CBAU entitled, The Future of Black Artists United in Manitoba Part 1, subtitled Interactive Conversations & Presentations involving the collaboration and convergence of creative diversity of five artists was held on Sunday, 26th November 2023. The activities which took place at the Creative Foundation Centre were directed by two panelists namely, Dr. Ben Akoh and Mr. Segun Olude. The artists involved in the event were Manitoba artists: Olanrewaju Abiola, Yisa Akinbolaji, Habeeb Andu, Opeyemi Olukotun and Bola Oriyomi. Ben Akoh is the Founder of the African Movie Festival in Manitoba & Member of Board of the Manitoba Arts Council. Mr. ‘Segun Olude is a Certified Professional Graphic Designer, Educator and Storycrafter. The exhibition was on display till February 2024.
